Holocaust Commemoration hosted by Valley Beth Shalom in Encino. Leora Raikin, DLP Founder and Executive Director, was the keynote speaker for the Yom HaShoah Commemoration with the theme “Art & Music as an Eternal Thread of Our People.”
This commemoration also featured the DLP exhibit “Documenting History through Art,” with guided tours led by DLP student docents who just completed the Spring 2024 DLP Student Docent and Leadership Program.
There was a showing of the Telly award winning documentary “Healing through Art,” produced by Darryl Pugh Jr., Capital Group, which features DLP.
