David Labkovski Project founder and executive director Leora Raikin was honored at the Senate District 27 Woman of the Year event hosted by Senator Henry Stern.
DLP extends its gratitude to Senator Stern for recognizing the critically important work of the David Labkovski Project and its mission to advance Holocaust education through art, history, and student engagement.
The event began with a welcome from the Office of Senator Stern, followed by brunch, remarks from former Senator Fran Pavley, and an awards ceremony recognizing the honorees for their contributions to the community.
