A step into the past,
a leap into the future.

Bearing witness with VR

The David Labkovski Virtual Reality Experience uses cutting edge technology to impact students beyond the traditional classroom models.  Our innovative program immerses students in the "world that was"prior to the Holocaust.  Student don't just engage with the artwork, they become part of it!

What is VR?

Picture

VR stands for Virtual Reality, a computer generated simulation which immerses the user into a realistic digital world.

What is the purpose of our VR Project?

Picture
The DLP is creating the VR experience to engage students of all ages in an immersive experience to have a greater understanding of the "world that was".   Participants will:
  • walk through the bustling streets of Vilna
  • hear the issues of the day
  • explore a Jewish home
  • visit the Strashun Library

How is the VR be used?

Picture
The VR will become an integral component of the educational and museum exhibition programming.
It will be used:
  • in every classroom
  • in every student curated exhibit
  • in our gallery exhibits
  • the VR will be voiced in English, Lithuanian, Spanish and Hebrew to allow for a diverse audience.

Become part of the VR community

Support the VR!

Your support will allow the next generation to learn using this new technology! We are currently working to have the VR available in Spanish and Hebrew.  Your support will help enable more students to learn with our cutting edge technology.
